617   imageHaiti, Exceptional Collection of Premium Covers, 1763-1982, 85 covers in total, neatly presented on stockpages, most with detailed write-ups, ranging from stampless to the modern, with most late 19th/early 20th century; a vast array of frankings, markings, and uses are presented, some scarce or rare; we note internal, foreign and incoming mails; Drop Rate, Air, Registered, Official, Consular, Paquebot and censored covers; First Day Covers and First Flight Covers, along with US Naval Ship covers; many commercial covers including advertising/illustrated; solo and multi-franked uses; markings including due, accountancy and transit marks along with company chops; cachet cancels celebrating Berthelot and Lindbergh, etc., etc.; individual covers of note include one to the St. Louis World's Fair, a 1907 Presidential cover to Philadelphia, and a Scouts-related cover signed by Lady Baden-Powell; also included are a number of cancelled stamps off-cover, including Great Britain 2d blue (#A6, plate 14) pair, Haiti #312-313 with "T.M." overprints, and a fragile (separations) imprint part-sheet of 40 of Haiti #J14; a stellar holding the likes of which would be near-impossible to duplicate today, Very Fine as a whole, fully imaged online, and well worth the viewing time.
