A mouth watering collection housed in 15 Julier albums, starting with stampless postal history, with items in overall exemplary quality with eye-poppiong appeal, with many scarce to rare stamps, sets and sheetlets present, often more than once, starting with 1849 issues to 1fr (2, plus one vermilion), 1852 including 10c bistre, Napoleon imperfs to 1fr, Napoleon perf to 5fr (3) + many covers, Bordeaux issue extensive, all the expensive good values including. 5fr War Orphans, sheetlets up to 3 of each (!!), the good airmails multiple, several expensive issues in blocks of 4 or on cover, fantastic cover with airmail bisect together with 50fr banknote, Le Havre exhibition on cover, airmail bisect on cover, both stamps from Paris Expo sheet on cover and so much more, it is far easier for you rto review the images which are all detailed online, generally Fine to Very Fine, one of the best French collections we have had the pleasure to offer. France, Powerful Mint Stock of Regular Issues, 1900-42. Tremendous stock composed of about 40 different stamps in quantities of from 4 (a block of the 1900 2fr "Merson", Scott 126, Cérès 122, disturbed gum) to over 400 (Scott 196, Cérès 181), with such high-powered stamps as the 1927 3fr "Merson" (30) and the 1932 1.20fr "Peace" (73). France, A Comprehensive Mint + Used Collection, 1849-1975. The collection is housed in two well filled Lighthouse hingeless albums containing many hundreds of singles and sets including a multitude of better singles and sets. The 19th century is primarily used and very well represented with imperf and perf Ceres issues to the 1fr, Napoleon 1fr. Empire 5fr gray, imperforate Bordeaux issues, Type Sage and Merson. Much unused in the 20th century including semi-postal with the scarce B3-B10 mint and much more with better used sets as well. Air Post has C1-C2 mint + C15 L.H., A good showing of Postage Dues and other B.O.B. items. Very solid modern through 1975. Please see the scans or in-person to fully appreciate this collection. France, A Delightful Accumulation of Mint + Used Sage Issues, 1870's-1890's, The ever popular Sage issue Type I and II here in profusion containing a plethora of very useful mint copies both perf and imperf as well as a quantity of used all on cards mainly identified for easy resale. A rough Scott value on just the mint should exceed $30,000. And with the used could be over $40,000. The mint & used both have a trove of nice quality that will sell for decent percentages of Scott. France, Exquisite Mostly Mint Collection, 1849-2017, Nine hingeless Palo albums in immaculate condition house this collection of France with some strong classics and as much modern mint as one could hope for. Mostly used early on, but by the 1920s it has switched over to being almost entirely mint and from 1944 on, I could not find an empty spot! Better items include used #1, 42, 42a, 105-09, and mint 22, 22a, 89, 99-100, 131, 236, 247, 252, 264-83, 294, 296-97, 299, 300a, 302, 311-12, 315-20, 348, 348a, 342-47, 414, 414a. Additional mini-sheets and booklets added throughout the collection, as well as counter books filled with well over 100 more booklets and other items.
