State"; the recipient clearly saw something of interest to a friend, affixed the two Franklins, and sent it to a Mr. Frank Smith in Indianapolis, Indiana; strong killer ties the 1d, the 1¢ stamps tied by lightly struck postmark and target (?) cancels; newspaper with splits developing along fold lines, but otherwise sound, Fine to Very Fine, an interesting two-country franking.
