1923 Harding Memorial Issue

784 cover 610 image1923, 2¢ Harding, flat plate printing, First Linn's Cachet First Day Cover (Scott 610), near-perfectly centered stamp tied by Sept. 1, 1923 Marion, Ohio wavy line postmark, on Linn's "In Memoriam" black-bordered envelope (Planty #610-1; considered the first modern cacheted First Day Cover); addressed to Linn in Columbus, and signed by Marion Postmaster, French Crow at upper right, Very Fine, ex Lippman, a scarce (Linn estimated he sent out 200) and sought-after First Day, more so with the Postmaster's signature.
