5119 F   image1886, Jeffryes Bogus Kamehameha, $2 red & $5 blue, attractive display of five items: 1.) a die proof of the $2 red on heavy wove paper (the same as that used for the "stamps", 74x111 mm; 2.-3.) a mint, o.g. example of each stamp, perf 16½; 4.) another perf 16½ $2 single with a tiny "ESSAY" handstamp at the lower left and an "invalidating" pen stroke; and 5.) an imperf $2 single in a somewhat deeper shade, no gum, small ink stain at the top - possibly a proof; all mounted an an attractive display page with a copy of a picture of the forger, George Kirke Jeffryes, as drawn by a courtroom artist at the 1891 London trial where Jeffryes and his two partners were being tried — and found guilty — of conspiracy to defraud., Very Fine.
