941 /o   Worldwide, One Man's Lifetime Assortment. Eight cartons filled with forty binders, seven cover albums, two shoe boxes and a pile of loose album pages. The albums are filled with thousands of used stamps from the years 1960 to 1990 with a smattering of earlier stamps. We noted that the single best country is Russia with a high level of completion, followed by the U.S., and then Canada, and Eastern Europe. The albums are about evenly divided between Minkus and computer generated pages. Most of the cover albums contain a collection of addressed FDCs from the Postal Commemorative Society. A good lot for those who appreciate used stamps, Fine to Very Fine.

A group of nine stock books with better material concentrated in Afghanistan never hinged sets issued in the 1960s and Latin America unchecked stamps; Liberia collection mounted on Scott pages, including regulars and airmails issued in the 20th century; Philippines stamps on Scott pages with sets issued in the 1937-68 period, including airmails and officials. In two three-ring binders with some unused, no gum examples, including Belgium 89 & 91; France & Colonies sets & singles in the $10 to $50 range; Iran 1876 (30 x4), plus several used classics; Italy & Colonies mint and used examples; Luxembourg section with several better 19th century examples such as O10, O15 unused, no gum, O42 used. Also as a bonus we noted some glassines, approval cards an U.S. first day covers from September 1, 1923. Condition is mixed but there are enough F-VF items to support our estimate. 946 F   Worldwide, Forgeries Accumulation. A highly recommended reference holding, including El Salvador 1874 forged type III handstamps (blocks of 4, blocks of 8, larger multiples and some complete sheets, corresponding to Scott 9-12); Haiti 1902 forged handstamps, including some blocks of four and several complete sheets of 100 that deserve your attention. There is a fair number of worldwide stamps with APS certificates which identify them as forgeries, plus some other mounted on pages with Japan, Ethiopia, Persia & Serbia examples. We also noted several unused Eastern Rumelia (South Bulgaria) postal cards with stamps depicting forged handstamps. A considerable amount of material, and well worth inspection at our conservative estimate, o.g., hinged or never hinged, Fine to Very Fine.
