1904   imageCuba, 1935, International Glider Flight from Havana to Miami, six covers: perforated stamp with pilots and other signatures; pair of perforated on cover with hand cancel and 5:30 PM time; another similar franked with imperforate block; then perforated addressed and forwarded to Aruba- the only one according to Post Office records; 1 of 38 Washington D.C. covers with a single of each; lastly one to New York signed by glider pilots and Augustin Perla- in whose honor the flight was made (and flew in the tow plane), a satisfying group that one would struggle immensely to duplicate, Very Fine.

1905   imageCuba, 1935, International Glider Flight from Miami to Havana, three covers, two are special covers with Union League Club of Chicago corner cards, first postmarked at 8:30 PM second which is franked by airmail special delivery (US#771) and postmarked at 10:00 PM, each with appropriate cachets and marked "Nulo" by Cuban officials as the flight was not sanctioned in advance, last cover is the flight with the Cuban stamp eradicated (cut out) by Cuban authorities, interesting group, Very Fine.

1910 C1-C4 imageFrench Colonies: Alaouites, 1925, airmail cover from Kerdaha to Deir-Ez-Zor (Scott C1-C4), franked with 2p-10p airmail overprints (Scott #C1 to #C4) and tied by a violet "Kerdaha 23-3-25", back stamped transit "Alep 26-3-25" and arrival postmark "Deir-Ez-Zor 27-3-25", both in black.
