German Area, "Lebensraum" Mint/Used Collection of Colonies & Occupied Areas, 1890-1944, mounted on homemade pages, an eyebrow-raising collection of German Colonialism and territorial expansion in World War II; Colonies well represented with many better individual items, such as Cameroon used #16-18, mint 25, 63; Caroline Islands mint #23, German East Africa used #20, 38 (2, one on piece), 41 (2) including a Forerunner cancelled in Lamu on piece (MiNr. VL40 II); German New Guinea used #6, German Southwest Africa used #34, Kiauchau used #18, Mariana Islands mint #31, Samoa used #55 (2, one on piece), mint 73; Togo mint #41, 153; a few very nice examples from Offices in China with used #36b, 56 and a Forerunner cancelled in Peking on piece (MiNr. V45b); other items include Marienwerder with red overprints on the 75pf & 80pf Germania stamps (MiNr. 18P1-19P1), privately issued stamps during WWII, such as the famous Polar Bear sheet from French Legion of Volunteers and others from both the French & Belgian Legions, a whole page of locals from the city of Luboml in present-day Ukraine, and another entire page of propaganda forgeries, for example, a complete cancelled set of KGVI Heads, the Jewish War stamp with the face of Stalin, and the equally notorious Heinrich Himmler stamp (signed Bohne); many scarce items—some of which are dubious including Mafia Island, the German Occupation of Northern France in WWII handstamped "Besetztes Gebiet Nordfrankreich" or the Australian Occupation of the Marshall Islands, otherwise known as New Britain; numerous items signed, generally Fine to Very Fine, fully imaged online and worth careful review. German Area, Multiple Mint/Used Collections, 1875-2005, A homemade collection of mostly mint and nearly complete West Germany blackmounted in five volumes up to 1993, a mostly used collection of Reich & Bund on old Schaubek pages, a complete CTO collection from 1987-96, another highly complete mostly used collection in a Scott album from 1969-2005, a complete parallel mint & used collection in a hingeless Lindner from 1996-99, and others. German Area, Mint/Used Collection of States, Reich, BRD & DDR, 1849-1996, A clean collection in four Scott Specialty albums with stamps in black mounts; Reich is lacking but some better items, like mint #B91-92 & C38, but almost entirely mint and highly complete collections of West Germany (1952-96), Berlin (1955-87) and East Germany (1949-82). Another volume is for States, Colonies, Plebiscites, and WWI & WWII Occupied Areas. Most striking is a virtually complete used collection of the Occupation of Serbia, but because of the high volume of forged cancellations, you can have a look online and decide for yourself, overall Fine to Very Fine.
