Set of 80 Picture Postcards Featuring Paintings from the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, The gallery commemorates the "imperial virtues" of Japan's Meiji Emperor (1867-1912). The eighty paintings—by 76 different artists—depict scenes from the Emperor's life and times in chronological order. The cards are all clean and sharp, but have developed some very light toning (see the online images). Still a lovely group. Shipping charges apply - weight 0.8 lbs.
