Lafayette, for Thirty Four ??? Sugar which we hope will give satisfaction. The market here, for some time, varied only a fraction, advancing or receding according to the demand. Sales on Plantation are scarce, & price comparatively higher than on the Levee, when made the immediate delivery is required; some planters bring in most of funds, others apprehending the consequences of an overflow.
