from the front) as SG 121aa but additionally with the Watermark Reversed (the serif on the horizontal stroke of the '4' pointing towards the base of the stamp), a couple of short perfs & minor creasing, very fine First Type Barred Numeral '244' of
Back Creek/Talbot (goldmining), recorded but unpriced in Gibbons. Only one other example of the Watermark Sideways variety has been recorded - not Reversed - used at Daylesford (see previous Lot).
