1947 Newcastle Sesquicentenary set ACSC 242-244y tied by 'ADELAIDE/-8SE47/STH-4-AUS' cds to printed '150th Anniversary/of the/City of Newcastle' cover, blank blue R label endorsed "Royal Adel/Show", minor
blemishes. The enclosed note from R Turley states the item is "a cover from the Adelaide Showground' postoffice [sic], open from 4th to 11th September 1947". We speculate that Bob Turley produced the envelope, but his note does not mention this,
rather listing the registration label numbers used.
