Edward Bailey, addressed to Daniel Wright Jr. in North Situate, Mass., letter datelined "Wailuku, Maui, Mar 27, 1843" with lengthy 3-page letter describing his missionary and school work, also directly mentioning the lettersheet: The last two year I have been teacher of this Sem. of which this sheet contains a Catalogue. The cut is a correct representation, so for as position & dimensions are concerned of the school buildings., cover with red "Boston, Mass., Sep 25" cds and "Ship" straight line handstamp, manuscript "8" rate, forwarded from Natick and re-rated; letter with some fold splitting and trivial cover tear not affecting the printed lettersheet, Very Fine, a magnificent and extremely rare early Hawaiian illustrated lettersheet of which only a few are known, this being finest example sent by the director of the seminary.
