A MARVELOUS USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1861 3¢ PIGEON BLOOD PINK ISSUE BEARING A COMPLIMENTARY COLOR CANCELLATION.

Many of the used 3¢ pigeon blood pink issue are found used from Cincinnati Ohio. It is also interesting to note that another rare shade variety of 1861 was being used at the Cincinnati post office around the same time - the elusive 24¢ "Cincinnati" violet.
