NO DOUBT THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST EXCEPTIONAL, MINT NEVER-HINGED SPECIMENS FROM THE 1887 2¢ AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE.

We note that an example Graded 98J was sold at Siegel Auctions in 2019 (Sale 119, Lot 1282) for a hammer price of $6,250. In our opinion, this is a better stamp, as the Siegel copy was off center to the left.
