1970 /      United States Plate Block Collection, 1924-99. Substantial collection in 6 Scott albums, albums 1-5 have the commemoratives, and 6 has definitive and Airmail plates, starts with 614-15, 617-18, 621 (n.h., CV $275), has both 629 plus 630, the full White Plains sheet (n.h., $500), then goes delightfully through the 2¢ reds, 3¢ purples, Washington Bicentennials, 1933 plates and souvenir sheet, National Parks, both perf. and imperf, and on to 1959, all in plastic mounts and almost all n.h. Probably less than a handful of hinged items after 630, commemoratives from 1960-1999 all apparently n.h. and in plastic mounts, later years, often mini sheetlets of 20 are shown and some higher value items, too, Airs include C7-9, C11 (all n.h.), C16-17 and 19, C20-22 n.h., C24 n.h., C25-31 n.h., plus rest of the airmails, definitives start with #551 n.h., 635-42, 692-97, 803-32, and on to 1999, plate strips of 20 where needed, and some Express Mail and high value items.

1979 o    832b 1951 $1 Prexie USIR Watermark Error Study. Incredible study of 63 used stamps all arranged on stock pages in a binder consisting of 30 singles, six pairs, two strips of three, two blocks of four and a block of seven, all documented with photos or illustrations showing positions of the double line watermark letters, Scott as used stamps $4000+, an extremely hard to duplicate group, great for the Prexie specialist, generally fine to very fine or better.
