1931 o      United States, Bank Note Issues with New York Foreign Mail Cancellation Collection. Stockbook containing a large accumulation of 1870-78 Banknote Issues 1¢-90¢ (over 400 stamps) all with N.Y.F.M. Geometric fancy cancels, all identified and organized by Vlissingen & Waud, many different types and denominations with some duplication, includes quantities of higher denominations including 12¢ (26), 15¢ (9), 24¢ (33), 30¢ (9) and 90¢ (3), collected for the cancellations and while overall they are generally sound stamps, centering varies and some minor flaws here and there, six identified ex-Kirke; owner's rough Scott catalog value at $26,800 assuming they are are all the cheaper Continental printings 156-166 (though many are the National and a few #136 grills), a lovely assembly and well worth careful evaluation.
