In small stock book classified using the Kerr catalog, 364 town overprinted stamps used after the Japanese surrender are enclosed, of those 284 had been properly identified, and another 84 must be classified, some duplication with majority are mint and good quality overall stamps, with useful bibliography "The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchukuo" (1945-47) by Allen D. 2251 /o    174//241 Mexico, Numeral Issue Collection, 1886-1895. Group of 75 different top quality stamps with a virtually complete set according to Scott core listings (except for the 2 peso values), all but 5 stamps are unused, this group is intact from a singles section of a Gold medal exhibit and therefore is carefully selected for centering, freshness and overall quality, includes all three issues (unwatermarked, ledger lines and watermarked) as well as the different perforations (6,12, 6x12) and colors, additionally there are 16 stamps showing all the color shades of the 1c, 2c, 5c and 10c and also 10 mint stamps showing the different rates each denomination was designed for, group comes mostly from the late Joe Bard's magnificent collection and took him 50+ years to assemble; a unique opportunity to acquire a top set of these difficult stamps, Scott cat. $4,588.

Of 11 covers in select condition from a Gold Medal exhibit; 2 are beautiful advertising covers, 2 have the rare 3c discounted official rate, one is an underpaid 5c to Europe, one has an uncommon 3c + 3c + 4c rate, another is a rare 6c + 1c (4) rate, 2 are registered (one with a rare blue Zacualpam postmark), most important is a full cover from Etla to Oaxaca with 32 stamps of the 5c ledger lines issue + 10 stamps 10c scarlet paying $3.60, one of the largest combinations of the issue.
