2201 o      Great Britain, Collection, 1841-84. Prodigious Queen Victoria used plating study mounted on lined or quadrille pages, starting with penny reds, ending with 1884 10 shilling. There are many sound, and many clearly canceled, mixed in with the faded and or heavily canceled with good prospects for postmarks (we noticed several used abroad items) and nothing has been checked for varieties like watermark errors and the like. Some numbers are represented by over a hundred examples, others with as few as 3. We note a penny red plating complete to #225 except for the rare 77; some higher out like 37 (7), 39 (24), 40 (9), 42 (9), 43 hundreds, 45 (20), 46 (5), 48 (14), 49 over a hundred, 52 (23), 55 (22 including 9 pale and at least 1 Prussian blue), 53 (14), 64 (47), 65(3), 69 (4), 70 (39), 71 (10), 73 (14), 87 (32), 94 (26), 95 (27), 96 (57 with shades), 99-105 dozens each 106 (7), 107 (32), 108 (31 with shades), 109 (9 with shades), 109a blued paper (a bit soiled); total cat by Scott over $371,000.

2215       Iran, Collection. Large mint & used accumulation including numerous singles and sets, the back-of-the-book is well represented as well, most all from the 20th Century, we cataloged a handful of sets and singles which are primarily mint, with a catalog value in excess of $19,000, noted is a part set of the 1915 Unissued Set of Historical Buildings 1Kr-50Kr values, with much, much more uncounted, of the uncounted material there is undoubtedly some forgeries or reprints but many good items remain, some gum toning is noted, but the overall quality seem quite good, a wonderful lot for the specialist which should be closely examined.
