584 o    2, 6a-8c imageMexico, Tuspan Group. Four ½r, five 1r including a pair, and four 2r including a pair, all unoverprinted and cancelled oval Tuspan (Schatzkes 1728), also included is a rare unoverprinted 1856 1r yellow with this same Tuspan cancel, obviously a Huejutla stamp that "escaped" being overprinted rather than a direct Tuspan consignment but interesting nevertheless, F.-V.F.
Scott No. 2, 6a-8c; Estimate $400 - 600.

Tuspan was technically a sub-office of Huejutla but received the first of two direct consignments 16 December 1862, used without district name.

Three unused including a 4r black on yellow and 120 used, 44 from sub-offices (14 different cancels), includes seventeen ½r, two 4r blacks (one used from Tlacotalpan), five 4r rose on yellows, two 8r black on browns (one used out-of-district from Jalapa), and five 8r green on browns, in addition there are seven covers one of which has five 1r and another a 4r black on yellow (pretty), noted are some plate varieties, stamps with two and no district names, etc., F.-V.F., a very nice lot worth a close look.

Comprised of two unused 2r, seventeen used including two ½r and a 4r black on yellow, a piece with quarter of 8r black on brown tied, a 2r cover from Rio Grande, a 4r black on yellow bisect tied to cover front and a quarter of 8r also tied to cover, additionally there are four unoverprinted 2r cancelled either "0" or "8" and (apparently) crossed "1"s plus an example of this last on a cover - these from the 1864 provisional period, F.-V.F., a nice lot worth inspection.
