Mexico, Morelia Marvelous Collection. Of 105 stamps and two covers all used from sub-offices and exhibiting twenty-five different cancels, here are nineteen ½r, seven 2r emeralds, several 2r sapphire greens, five 4r (one cancelled Taretan) and two 8r (both with a different Colima cancel), a piece has 2r bisect tied, some scarcer sub-offices represented are Acuitzeo, Apazingan, Santa Clara, Cuitzeo, Huetamo, Quiroga and Tancitaro, generally F.-V.F.

The latter have close or touching margins as is so often the case for this district - nicer 8rs are rarities, some attractive sub-office cancels, though no rarities, generally F.-V.F.

Mexico, Puebla Collection. With four unused (two ½r) and 190 used including sixty ½r, five 2r emeralds, some 2r blue greens, eleven 4r and an 8r, plus fifteen covers (seven from sub-offices), twenty-six different cancels are present, twenty of which are from sub-offices, undoubtedly the rarest item is a cover with 1r pair tied by the pre-stamp era circular "FRANQUEADO PUEBLA" (Schatzkes 147A), among the sub-office cancels are ones from Amozoc, Huamantla, Nopalucan, S. Agustin el Palmar, Tepeaca, Zacotlan, Tlaxcala, F.-V.F., must be examined to be fully appreciated.

With two unused 1r and 157 used including thirty-seven ½r (including two strips of 4), three 2r emeralds and two 4r, one of which is cancelled San Felipe, twenty-six different cancels are present, 22 of which are from sub-office, red Valle de Santiago (Schatzkes 1337 - 80 points) is the rarest, plus eight covers include from S. Miguel Allende, two S. Juan del Rio, Salamanca, and Salvatierra - a nice item with 1r pair tied by Schatzkes 1334 and a piece has a 4r bisect tied by Celaya, generally F.-V.F.

Of 150 of which 73 have sub-office cancels (13 different), includes twenty-one ½r, six 2r emeralds, three 2r blue greens and four 4r, there are also ten covers, plus two pieces with quarter of 8r tied and dated well after the introduction of the 1861 Issue. The S.L. Potosi cancels include the rare Schatzkes 1440 on two 1r, generally F.-V.F., an impressive lot worth careful inspection.

Of 159 used of which 87 are used from sub-offices (19 different cancels), included are thirty three ½r highlighted by a pair cancelled Tlaltenango, nine 2r emeralds, six 2r deep blue greens, four 4r and one 8r, also present are eight pieces with splits: 2r bisect, three 4r bisects and four with quarter of 8r (various cancels), seven covers include 1r Ojo Caliente, 1r Rio Grande and a 2r Plate 1 olive green, a loose 2r is cancelled with the seldom seen large ribbon Franco en Zacatecas (Schatzkes 1854C), other better cancels include Juchipila, Mazapil, S.M. Mesquital, Rincon de Ramos, Sierra Hermosa and Jerez, generally F.-V.F., an important collection worth careful inspection.
