302 o    2, 3b imageMexico, (Yguala) 1r Early Plate Pair and 2r Emerald. All without district name, these are of uncertain district but are cancelled Ciudad de Iturbide (Schatzkes 1843) which is an alternate name for Yguala, about Fine, Regardless of actual district, these are both interesting and very rare.
Scott No. 2, 3b; Estimate $400 - 600.

These cannot have been directly consigned to Yguala since their earliest were sent in 1858 - well after these early plate stamps were used. Most likely they were originally sent to C. Bravos under which C. de Iturbide was a sub-office. Administration was soon transferred to Tixtla along with unused (and unoverprinted) remaining stock.
