Mint and used on Scott album pages with some pleasant duplication; includes early 10k issues (#1-2) used, 1858-64 issues complete mostly used and complete to near complete later Coat of Arms issues including better later high values, useful to good 20th century regular issues with good to strong completion overall, similar semi-postal issues mostly mint, some good airmail runs, offices with some good issues, stationery items, Wenden issues appear complete and a nice section of Zemstvo local issues, etc.; condition mixed mostly confined to early issues, please inspect.

Extensive holding of issues mostly housed in ten albums, stockbooks and binder; with strength in Denmark starting with 2rs first issue with engraved burelage x2 and a typo issue all 4 margin, the later issues also used yet somewhat extensive with types identified including 1851 4rs printing and shade study, plate varieties, later completion with some mint and noted varieties running through, better 1912 5kr present both */o, completion in back-of-the-book, additional stock, cancel study, many early covers, a nice collection of local post issues, etc., etc., DWI issues with strong completion and good varieties, G.B. used in St. Thomas including scarce 5sh, Greenland with 1945, 1öre-5kr Liberation regular & scarcer overprints complete and good parcels present mostly mint, Norway from #1 x5 on with excellent completion, useful other countries, etc.; nice material throughout however collection was improperly stored with some mint stuck down and some pages a bit musty (with our evaluation reflecting this), still an excellent opportunity to acquire a specialized collection quite reasonably, inspection is recommended.

Scandinavia, Collection. 1850-1940's high-cat, low-percentage type accumulation of used and mint on various pages; actually two collections without Iceland plus a single volume of Iceland, most value in duplicated ranges of earlies in rather mixed condition, with most duplication (some 5 or more of each), lots of $20-200 range items really add up and there is even a group of DWI, not particularly pretty but could offer some good cancel and shade variety hunting; owner's cat value by Scott exceeds $19,000.

Small sketch book full of interesting World War II covers with a wide variety of frankings and censor markings, usage are mainly South Africa, however some are Great Britain stamps used in South Africa, or in combination with South African stamps, additionally K.U.T. with A.P.O. cancels on preprinted "On Active Service" covers, a couple of "Active Service" aerogrammes, and more, worth careful inspection.

Housed on quadrille pages in Elbe album; starting with German South West Africa issues with 2m forerunner on piece and regular issues with completion in mint and additional used with much cancel interest and good high values, on cover usages with many registered items, post and postal cards including unfranked feldpost items, section of British issue forerunners, nice showing of the KGV bilingual pair settings including the scarce 2nd setting 10sh & £1 pairs mint (cat $550 & $1,100), good 3rd setting mint issues with £1 pair, 1927 Pictorials complete including block of four 10sh and additional mint pairs, with later issues in similar fashion mostly mint; condition well above the norm throughout, inspection highly recommended.

Spanish Cuba, Collection, 1855-1890's. Very fine collection in 2 specialized fancy Edifil binders; collection was formed with the balance of the great Edward Goldsmith collection of classic Cuba sold in 2000, all items are carefully mounted, it contains 26 Stampless covers (Puerto Principe, San Juan de los Remedios, Matanzas, Fernardina de Jagua, St Spiritu, Esperanza, Isla de Barlovento, Habana and several transatlantic covers. It has 750+ early stamps in excellent condition some with rare cancels, and 60+ covers selected for condition and beauty, 12 stamps that look like early proofs, there are many large blocks of the earlier stamps, Scott Nos. 69 on cover to Schonbach, Germany, 27 advertising covers 1890- 1930's, also a piece with two five cents American occupation stamps, three postal cards and 3 unused blocks of 4 of early Spanish period stamps, 1866 Block of 8 of the 40c rose canceled with a manuscript cancel, probably from a fiscal receipt, 1870's eight beautiful blocks of 4 with great cancels, Edifil #Telegraphs 47, 48, 56 and Cuba 54, 49, 103, 100, 127, some cancels are fiscal, and 1873 King Amadeo 15 proofs and essays, also a King proof; inspection highly recommended.
