'93" circular datestamp to Brunn, Austria, manuscript "San Juan de Loyola" ship designation at top, Marseilles transit and Brun receiving backstamps, with original enclosure depicting same seal; vertical bends at right of cover, mounting remnants on back, overall Very Fine, a stunning and rare double-rate overseas cover.

Tied by light strikes of red Manila circular datestamps on registered 1894 cover to Zurich, endorsed "p S.S. Espana via Singapore" at upper left, French Pacquet marking at right, opened at right and sealed with what looks like selvage (perforations on back), purple "Helios Fabrica de Tabacos" boxed company handstamp, receiving backstamp, double-weight use, scarce registered marking, a Very Fine cover, only three examples of this type are recorded.

891     198, 202 imagePhilippines, 1898 Manila to Bremen, Germany. 1898 6 centavos tied by partial black Hong Kong cds with 2 centavos tied by blue crayon in transit on cover to Bremen, backstamped with Bremen 6 July 1898 cds, printed business firm El Oriente, Fabrica de Tabacos, Manila on reverse with large red wax seal, mailed from Manila late May or early June 1898, hand carried on ship to Hong Kong, F.-V.F., scarce usage.
