Sterling Stamps announces the 5th and final auction of the year on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at 10am EST, with pre-auction bidding ending Saturday morning at 6am (EST). Please note we go live online at 10am on both Stamp Auction Network and our website https://auctions.sterlingstamps.com. This auction offers many nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, country collections, foreign accumulations, literature, and supplies. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) and never overcharge for shipping!

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The USA section consists of several certed 19th century singles, including many fancy cancels (including a Running Chicken), several graded early 20th century singles, and a group of better mint plate blocks. A nice selection of essays (note the Sanitary Fair) and proofs should not be overlooked, as well as the better first day covers. We've also added a selection of EFO material.
  • Many US collections, lots, sheets, postage, covers, cover lots, and cover accumulations.
  • Better foreign singles especially in the Canada, Australian States, China, and Iceland categories. Note the many Sanabria listed airmails throughout the foreign categories and better covers in the China, Russia, and other areas.
  • Our usual lots, collections, boxlots, accumulations, cover lots, unlisted stuff, some great literature, and useful supplies round out the auction and are well worth reviewing.
Live bidding, (without audio), is available on Stamps Auction Network and our website, https://auctions.sterlingstamps.com beginning at 10am ET. This allows you to bid in real-time against floor, phone and other internet bidders.
