Mail Bid/Internet/Live Internet Auction - April 2, 2022

Sterling Stamps announces their second auction of the year on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 10am EST. This auction offers many nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, and collections and accumulations. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) and never overcharge for shipping!

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Nice selection of individual US stamps highlighted by a used Scott 1b, 8A, 28A, 83 variety with partially erased "C" grill, and Scott 90 block of 4. Unused include Scott 17, 23, 69, 70, 73 block, 87, 98, 99, 130, and 262. Also you will find 8 different grill varieties on Scott 94 (Lot 36) , Kansas City Roulettes MNH multiples, and Prexie Scott 806 and 842 thin paper varieties with certificates. Once again, there is another nice selection of Essays, Proofs, and Specimens in this auction like Scott 1Xa-Ec1 Gavit & Co., and several Roosevelt small die proofs. The cover section is highlighted by several lots of Michigan covers, with stampless, DPOs, and advertising; several Waterbury covers, Hinton signed airmail covers, and more.
  • In other sections, we offer a nice selection of country, area, and Zeppelin covers and cards, Canada cancel selections, better Belgium, Germany, and Japan not to mention more selections from the Burris collection featuring better German Colonies and Offices, Spanish Colonies, and Ryukyu Islands, and the Wendt collection of Confederate States covers.
  • Our usual lots, collections, literature, and supplies are always worth reviewing also.
