R. Maresch & Son Auctions Ltd. Sale - 571

Fall 2022 Unreserved Public Auction - October 12, 2022

Our June auction sales continued the consistently successful trend we have seen here at Maresch regardless of the COVID pandemic in the past couple years. We are still seeing many strong and record realizations throughout. The market is still collector-driven and whether it’s stamps, proofs or postal history, the bids are still there for specialized collections, and any quality and above-average material.

This general sale again has a wide range of over 60 owners and estates. It contains a lovely section of Lower Canada Double Circles. Many Canadian collections in hingeless albums from Large Queens to modern. Proofs, IMPERFORATES with a nice selection of modern varieties. British Commonwealth with more larger lots and Omnibus with many 1935 Silver Jubilee varieties. A good section of large worldwide collections and accumulations, one lot in 45 Scott International album volumes. All followed by a nice section of USA.

We will be open for viewing Monday October 3rd to Saturday October 8th and again Monday October 10th to 11th for in house viewing 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you live out of the area and happen to be coming to the area earlier, viewing by appointment, can be arranged. We do our best to scan as many lots as we can to make your bidding easier, however the large lots should be view in person. Remember that everything is sold as we are an UNRESERVED AUCTION. Please make sure you allow ample time for viewing.

We will again be attending the Mississauga Stamp show September 9-10, and CANPEX October 15-16, 2022, this year and hope to see many of you there. I have printed the show cards in this catalogue as well as one for the Quebec City Old Paper Show November 19-20, 2022 for your convenience.

If you have stamps or other philatelic material to sell, we would be delighted to help. Proper preparation, description and advertising are necessary in order for you to obtain top prices for your material when selling at auction. Let us help you by allowing ample time to properly present your treasures in one of our world-class public auctions. All it takes is a simple call or email to discover how straight forward and profitable we can make the process of selling at auction for you. We look forward to hearing from you.
