Military and Royalty Postcard Collection. United States and European assortment from the early 1900s to the 1940s in one medium carton. Over 500 postally used and unused postcards in four binders and loose in sleeves. Consists of a binder of around 120 real photo postcards of WW I and WWII soldiers and sailors in a variety of poses; a binder of approximately 70 real photo postcards of military life, battles, and destruction during WWI; a binder of over 100 postcards of pre-WWI Dutch Royalty; a binder of 40 posted and unposted postcards of WWI German battleships; and over 170 loose postcards showing the arrival of the American fleet at Yokohama in 1908, idealized artistic renditions of memorable battles, foreign military officers and troops in various settings, military romance cards, etc. Cards are posted and unposted, with plenty of military cancels and auxiliary markings; they are in mixed condition, with most items F-VF.
