Canada collection/accumulation from the 1870s to 1995 in two cartons. Consists of a three volume Davo hingeless albums and slipcases having hundreds of mixed mint and used stamps to 1995 and a binder of Newfoundland. Likewise includes sixteen-year sets from 1980-1995 and roughly $400-500 postage from the mid-1980s to 1995 that were purchased as new issues. They are still in their original post office glassines comprising full sets, singles, souvenir sheets, and booklets. Outstanding collection in three Scott albums with many of the difficult items included. Scott #1 and five plus certified numbers 9, 11, and 13 begin this selection. A good group of Queens are followed by a mint set of Jubilees with #62 and #63 having certificates. Well populated collection continues to 2017. The provinces have some of the more challenging ones. British Columbia #2, 5, 6, and 7 are followed by #11 and #12 with certificates. New Brunswick has #2 and Prince Edward Island #3. Newfoundland Has #8with certificates and C12 and C18. Mixed condition on earlies as expected. A wonderful collection with some duplication that any Canada collector will appreciate. Earlies are in exceptionally good condition and later are never hinged including Scott #66, 76, 85-88, 90, 91, 109 block, and the King George V “Scroll” and “Arch/Leaf” issues plus more. A slightly remaindered collection on Specialty pages in three binders. The main binder contains Canada beginning with Scott 4. From there, one finds scattered large and small queens, mint Jubilees to the 50 cent (no 58), Quebec's missing only the 5 cent, then virtually complete mint from Scott 104 through 1996. Also contains many coil line pairs and jump strips with much never hinged. A green Specialty binder houses the Airs, E’s, J’s, and War Tax issues plus a few revenues and other somewhat obscure material. Also in this binder are useful provinces. Newfoundland is strong with a number of good mint sets. Useful singles are found here as well as in PEI. The third volume contains mint Canada from 1997 to 1999 and, combined with the postage in the main album, represents a substantial amount of face. All told, a valuable collection worth an extended view.
