French Postcard Sophistication. One of our loyal customers is closing her postcard business, and she has arranged for us to sell her holdings in several lots. This two-carton lot has over 2,000 cards which are posted or unposted, standard or continental, mostly sleeved, and occasionally with some identification and pricing. WWI era to the final decades of the twentieth century. Condition is mixed, but most of the material is F-VF. We noticed a variety of printing and design styles, including a large number of RPPCs, with many different locations and topics featured. You will find cards from most regions of France as well as a smattering of cards from Monaco and French overseas territories. Explore the history and culture of France through its picture postcards. German Postcard Fun. One of our loyal customers is closing her postcard business, and she has arranged for us to sell her holdings in several lots. This five-carton lot has around 6,000 cards, with a focus on the period 1907 to 1980s. Cards are posted and unposted, standard and continental, mostly sleeved, and occasionally with some identification and pricing. We found RPPCs, lithos, chromes, and more. Most regions and much culture and history of Germany appear to be represented. We noticed scenic views, posed photos, scenes from everyday life, holiday greetings, street scenes, hotels, etc. Condition is mixed, but most of the material is F-VF. One of the largest and most varied assemblages of German postcards we have ever offered.
