(x2) and £1 Robes tied by Registered Melbourne datestamp to 1938 (Nov 7) parcel tag with Melbourne bulk registration label on reverse. This item was written-up by Rod Perry in a June 2013 Stamp News where he stated that it is
"the only example of usage of 10/- dark grey and aniline-pink I've recorded", which is unsurprising when you consider that the ACSC state at page 2/166 most of this printing was withdrawn and destroyed
following the issue of the 10/- Robes definitive in November 1938. [The tag is believed to have paid postage for a 442oz gold bullion shipment sent from Melbourne to California for refining, the rate of £3/14/- paying 3d for first oz plus 2d

1d Engraved Impression in Deep Blue BW #59DP(2) on 'Postmaster-General's 1913 Christmas and New Year Greetings Card', some minor foxing, the card showing an impression of a machine cancel at top, originating from the postmark impression on the envelope in
which the card was enclosed, Cat $7,500. The card is accompanied by reduced-sized photos of a 1912 American New Year Greeting Card, which formed the basic design of the Australian Card, and a Proof of the Card (showing the manuscript markings
"400 as this" & "11-12-13"), both the originals residing in the Australian Archives, Canberra. Also included in a c.1970s reproduction of the card, produced by English dealer John Hawker to promote his
