18) rare and desirable franking of £5 Bulolo, 5/- Undated Birds Air & 1d Silver Jubilee 1d on registered gold bullion tag, all tied by 'WAU' datestamps, registration handstamp on reverse. A remarkable survivor in fine condition. A photocopy of
the only other known £5 Bulolo franking on parcel tag (Ex Ken Kutz), is included for reference. [The rate was 2d per 1oz letter rate x157 and 3d per ½oz airmail surcharge x314, plus 3d registration and 2d late fee (for registered articles),
amounting to a total postage fee of £5/5/1d] (Image1)
