Phoenix Auctions Sale - 98

Worldwide Public Auction - July 3-4, 2023

Welcome to our 3rd Public Auction for 2023 being held over 2 days on Monday & Tuesday the 3rd & 4th July.

Auction 98 will be live on the net via our own auction systems. Just login as usual and then open the Live Bidding window. This will then give you the ability to bid on each lot just as if you were in the room. We are now able to have normal viewing and Auction Room attendance.

  • Session 1 (lots 1-472) starts at 10.00am (local) on Monday and just features Australian Collections, Kangaroos & KGV Heads, with many fine imprints, monograms, varieties and shades throughout. The Kangaroos section, in particular, has some very rare and seldom offered items.
  • Session 2 (lots 473-851) starts no earlier than 1:00pm (local) on Monday and continues with Australia, Australian Colonies and Territories, including better postmarks, a good array of NWPI and several New Guinea Panelli forgeries.
  • Session 3 (lots 852-1296) starts at 10.00am (local) on Tuesday and starts our Rest of World section to Iceland. It features a wide range of better items, including varieties & Specimens, from Antigua, Ascension, Bahamas, Barbados, Bechuanaland & Bermuda.
  • Session 4 (lots 1297-1518) starts no earlier than 1:00pm (local) on Tuesday, and continues with India to Yemen, highlights include rare Indian revenues and 70 lots of rarely offered Tibetan stamps & postal history.
