2 Schilling grey ultramarine, with neatly upward and adjacent Danish cachet "SCHWARTAU 3/11" (1866) on blue postal money order to Eutin with arrival postmark and issue note. The upper right corner of the stamp (postage stamp) supplemented, otherwise in good condition.

2 Schilling grauultramarin, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem dänischen EKr. "SCHWARTAU 3/11" (1866) auf blauer Postanweisung nach Eutin mit Ankunftsstempel und Ausgabevermerk. Die rechte obere Ecke der Marke ergänzt, sonst gute Erhaltung.

2 shillings grey-blue with neatly upward and adjacent DKr. "ALTONA 9 11 67" on envelope to Nyborg in Denmark. When inspected by the post office, the letter fell into the 2nd weight category, hence the boxed cancel "Insufficiently franked" was affixed and taxed with "10" Danish Skilingen. The envelope is defective and unfresh due to opening.

2 Schilling graublau mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem DKr. "ALTONA 9 11 67" auf Briefkuvert nach Nyborg in Dänemark. Bei postseitiger Kontrolle fiel der Brief in die 2.Gewichtsstufe, daher Rahmenstempel "Unzureichend frankirt" angebracht und taxiert mit "10" dänischen Skilingen. Das Kuvert durch Öffnung fehlerhaft und unfrisch.

"ALTONA 24 6 66" on envelope via Travelling Post Office, Lübeck and Sandesund to Aalesund in Norway. The 2 shillings briefly struck by blue pencil, otherwise perfect. Inconspicuous folds in the stationery outside the postage paid and a small tear glued behind, otherwise in good condition. An attractive mixed franking of three different issues. An extraordinarily scarce piece; we have not registered any wide franked return address from Schleswig-Holstein.

"GLÜCKSTADT 26/8 1866" on advance postal envelope to Rantzau near Barmstedt. The left value of the bottom pair inconspicuous tear, otherwise in good condition. An unusual and scarce multiple franking.

"GLÜCKSTADT 26/8 1866" auf Postvorschuss-Briefhülle nach Rantzau bei Barmstedt. Der linke Wert des unteren Paares unauffälliger Einriss, sonst gute Erhaltung. Eine ungewöhnliche und seltene Mehrfachfrankatur.

"EUTIN 21 1 67" on complete Prussian postal money order for 12 stamps (postage stamp) and 8 Schillings, to Buchholz near Ratzeburg with reverse payment note and issue cancellations. 2 vertical folds outside the postage paid, small tear in the coupon and minimal patina, otherwise perfect. An extremely scarce and attractive piece. This is the only registered postal money order from the 2nd postage period with postmark cancellation. An important piece of Schleswig-Holstein postal history.

1? Schilling rotkarmin, senkrechtes Paar,  mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem  preußischen DKr. "EUTIN 21 1 67" auf vollständiger preußischer Postanweisung über 12 Mark und 8 Schilling, nach Buchholz bei Ratzeburg mit rückseitigem Auszahlungsvermerk und Ausgabestempeln. 2 senkrechte Faltungen außerhalb der Frankatur, kleiner Einriß im Coupon und  und minimale Patina, sonst einwandfrei. Ein äußerst seltenes und attraktives Stück. Dies ist die einzige registrierte Postanweisung aus der 2. Portoperiode mit Poststempelentwertung. Ein bedeutendes Stück der schleswig-holsteinischen Postgeschichte.

1? Schilling rotkarmin, 3 Einzelwerte, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem EKr. "KIEL BAHNHOF 16 7 67" auf komplettem Faltbrief an eine Hotel-Adresse nach Chemnitz. Der rechte Wert durch Randklebung senkrechte Druckspur, sonst gute Erhaltung.

1? Schilling red-carmine, two horizontal strips of 3 with DKr. "ALTONA 29/6 66" on envelope to Entlebuch in the 2nd Swiss district. Due to the centrally applied address, the stripes were applied diagonally and glued over the margin of the envelope (here accordingly defective); overall slightly age-spotted, otherwise in good condition. A very rare destination for Schleswig-Holstein, only 2 wide covers from this postage period are registered. Certificate Möller BPP (2007)

1? Schilling rotkarmin, zwei waagerechte 3er-Streifen mit DKr. "ALTONA 29/6 66" auf Briefkuvert nach Entlebuch im 2. schweizer Rayon. Aufgrund der zentrisch angebrachten Adresse, wurden die Streifen diagonal angebracht und über den Rand des Umschlages geklebt (hier entsprechend fehlerhaft); insgesamt leicht altersfleckig, sonst gute Erhaltung. Eine für Schleswig-Holstein sehr seltene Destination, es sind nur 2 weitere Briefe aus dieser Portoperiode registriert. Fotoattest Möller BPP (2007)

1? Schilling red carmine, souvenir sheet of 5 and single stamp, with cancellation "PLÖN 7/4 1866" on envelope to Belford, England. The single stamp defective due to edge gluing, 3 values of the souvenir sheet glued around the margin of the envelope and slightly abraded. A scarce postage paid abroad.

1? Schilling rotkarmin, 5er-Block und Einzelmarke, mit EKr. "PLÖN 7/4 1866" auf Briefkuvert nach Belford, England. Die Einzelmarke durch Randklebung fehlerhaft, 3 Werte des Blocks um den Rand des Kuverts geklebt und leicht geschürft. Eine seltene Auslands-Frankatur.

The 1? shilling minimally creased, 2 inconspicuous small burn holes in the envelope, otherwise perfect. A very rare foreign cover, we have only registered one other franked cover to Belgium.
