1865, SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN ½ shilling pink-purple in strip of 5, 1¼ shilling and 1? shilling each in block of four (the former from the right souvenir sheet margin) and 4 shillings in block of 9 from the right sheet margin, all unused with original gum, ½ shilling stronger adhesions, 4 shillings some toned or tinted and overall some values slightly defective.

½ shilling pink-purple, with red chalk cancellation on an undated small envelope to the Landvogtei (in Tinnum) on Sylt. The letter was probably taken over by the postman on the way from Keitum to Tinnum and delivered directly.

½ Schilling rosalila, mit Rötelstrich-Entwertung auf undatierter kleiner Briefhülle an die Landvogtei (in Tinnum) auf Sylt. Wahrscheinlich wurde der Brief vom Postzusteller auf dem Weg von Keitum nach Tinnum übernommen und direkt zugestellt.

The stamp (postage stamp) had been invalid since 1 October 1865, but this was not objected to, probably for "patriotic" reasons. Slight defects; an interesting and scarce letter. Signed Carl. H. Die Marke war seit dem 1.10.1865 ungültig, was aber, wohl aus "patriotischen "Gründen, nicht beanstandet wurde. Leichte Mängel; ein interessanter und seltener Brief. Signiert Carl. H. ½ shilling pink-purple in a horizontal pair, with upward and adjacent double circle cancellation "HEIDE 9 6 67" on 2nd weight class envelope in the vicinity to Hemme. As the Hemme letter collection centre had been under the control of the Lunden postoffice since February 1867, the postage had been 2½ shillings since then and "3" shillings (4 shillings for the unstamped letter minus the glued franc) were taxed in blue pencil (weakened by cleaning the letter). ½ Schilling rosalila im waagerechten Paar, mit auf- und nebengesetztem Doppelkreisstempel "HEIDE 9 6 67" auf Briefhülle der 2. Gewichtsstufe im Nahbereich nach Hemme. Da die Briefsammlungsstelle Hemme seit Februar 1867 dem Postamt Lunden unterstellt war, betrug das Porto seitdem 2½ Schilling und es wurden "3" Schilling (4 Schilling für den unfrankierten Brief abzüglich des verklebten Francos) in Blaustift taxiert (durch Reinigung des Briefes abgeschwächt). A very rare piece, we have only registered 2 other newspaper frankings from Schleswig-Holstein. Certificate Jakubek (1996)

"HADERSLEBEN 20/8 67" auf fast vollständiger, etwas fehlerhafter Zeitung 'Nordschleswigs tidende' mit Teil des Streifbandes, nach Apenrade mit Rötel "½", wahrscheinlich für Landpost-Zustellung. A vertical letter bend runs through the stamp (postage stamp) on the left, otherwise in good condition. A scarce franking combination with slightly overfranking of ¼ Schilling. The letter was probably posted directly in the Kiel-Korsör ferry letterbox to save money; the Danish fee of "6" skilling was collected from the addressee. 1¼ Schilling grün, mit klar auf- und nebengesetztem preußischen DKr. "HAMBURG 25 6 67" auf Briefkuvert nach Christian Albrechten Koog bei Deezbüll. Marke kleiner Randfehler. Eine seltene, geduldete Verwendung der Schleswig-Holstein-Marke in Hamburg.

1¼ shilling green in a block of four, fresh colours and quite well rouletted, with neatly upward and adjacent Danish cachet "SEGEBERG 28 5" on blue envelope of 4th weight class as advance postage letter to Neumünster; the advance postage fee of "1¼" shillings noted at bottom left. The souvenir sheet somewhat toned or tinted, the envelope with stronger traces of transport and age.

1¼ Schilling grün im Viererblock, farbfrisch und recht gut durchstochen, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem dänischen EKr. "SEGEBERG 28 5" auf blauer Briefhülle der 4. Gewichtsstufe als Postvorschuss-Brief nach Neumünster; die Postvorschuss-Gebühr in Höhe von "1¼" Schilling unten links vermerkt. Der Block etwas getönt, die Hülle stärkere Beförderung-und Altersspuren.

1¼ Schilling green in mixed franking with HERZOGTH. SCHLESWIG ½ Schilling green, with neatly upward and adjacent double circle cancellation "TÖNNING 19 2 67" on complete folded cover to Witzworz. On the 1¼ Schilling the roulette on the left is practically missing, thus slightly cornered at bottom, otherwise perfect and attractive condition. 1¼ Schilling grün in Mischfrankatur mit HERZOGTH. SCHLESWIG  ½ Schilling grün, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem Doppelkreisstempel "TÖNNING 19 2 67" auf komplettem Faltbrief nach Witzworz. Bei der 1¼ Schilling ist der Durchstich links praktisch ausgeblieben, dadurch unten gering eckrund, sonst einwandfreie und attraktive Erhaltung. Eine ganz ungewöhnliche und seltene Frankatur mit vorausbezahltem Bestellgeld. Signiert Jakubek BPP und Fotoattest Möller BPP (2018)

1? Schilling violet-brown without roulette, right margin piece with row counter "7", unused without gum. The stamp (postage stamp) is slightly touched above and rebacked here, somewhat creased and with a paper gap in the sheet margin. A scarce variety, only a few pieces known. 1? Schilling violettbraun ohne Durchstich, rechtes Randstück mit Reihenzähler "7", ungebraucht ohne Gummi. Die Marke ist oben etwas angeschnitten und hier hinterlegt, etwas knittrig und mit Papierspalt im Bogenrand. Eine seltene Abart, nur wenige Stücke bekannt. 1? shilling vivid violet-brown and 1¼ shilling green, both fresh colours and well rouletted, with neatly upward and adjacent single-circle postmark "BARMSTEDT 22/9 1865" on yellow envelope to Lüneburg with transit stamps of Hamburg and arrival postmark. The postage was 2 silver groschen, so the letter is underfranked by 0.08 shillings, but this was not objected to. The envelope unobtrusive small defects, otherwise very attractive and perfect condition. An extraordinarily scarce and attractive franking combination, we have not registered another one like this. Schilling lebhaftviolettbraun und 1¼ Schilling grün, beide farbfrisch und gut durchstochen, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem Einkreisstempel BARMSTEDT 22/9 1865" auf gelbem Briefkuvert nach Lüneburg mit Durchgangsstempeln von Hamburg und Ankunftsstempel. Das Porto betrug 2 Silbergroschen, der Brief ist somit um 0,08 Schilling unterfrankiert, was aber nicht beanstandet wurde. Das Kuvert unauffällige kleine Mängel, sonst sehr schöne und einwandfreie Erhaltung. Eine außerordentlich seltene und attraktive Frankaturkombination, wir haben keine weitere derartige registriert.
