The majority of the material ranges from the 1920s to the 1950s, with covers on either side of the range, noting postal stationery, aerogrammes, censor mail, along with registration and airmail rates. A few better items include two unaddressed Perak postal stationery cards with Japanese Occupation overprint; 1877 and 1879 Mauritius covers to France; 1932 Malta airmail to Italy, taxed 25 postage due. 872 CVR/PC Germany imageGroup of Interesting and Unusual Postal History, in two small cover albums, the first one contains about 43 covers and cards with Railway Post Office cancels (1890s to 1950s). The second album contains about 62 covers and cards put aside for having interesting attributes. For example there is an 1874 cover with 7x 1kr stamps mailed to Holland, seven covers made with WWII maps of Germany, a stationery cover mailed twice, an 1861 stationery cover from Thurns & Taxis, four post cards with beautiful Bickerdike machine flag cancels, a used "Courier-Karte", a used "Mercur" stationery card, some interesting frankings such as a Baden #25 (30kr high value) supposedly tied to a cover front by a 5-ring #66 (probably made-up), a 5m single on 1919 cover with "Weimar Nationalversammlung 1919" postmark, local posts, a 1929 Catapulted cover, and many more. The basis of the collection is better postmarks, and we note a TOO LATE / LONDON duplex, a nice strike of the Gravesend spoon duplex with "8157" year date, various London duplex, a DUKE ST. LEITH straightline cancel, two nice strikes of Edinburgh late duplex, one "Posted Since 7 Last Night" and one "Posted since 1030 Last Night" and more.
