1312 CVR/PC   imageLot of Interesting Postal History, with many different items such as an unused 1933 Regina World's Grain Exhibition Radio card, a 1994 Reader's Digest private order stationery envelope with precancelled stamp, a large (faulty) envelope mailed to Bradford UK in 1884 initially with 12x 5c Small Queens (8 remain, all faulty), a large 1980 envelope (with contents) half burned and stamped "received in damaged condition" in a plastic envelope with a Canada Post letter explaining it was damaged due to fire, etc. a group of 16 postage due covers, some with postage due stamps and includes an ambulance cover, a stampless folded letter mailed from Williamstown CW (ERD of postmark) to Bells Corners, with three different backstamps, including the ERD of Bells Corners Nepean, a free franked cover from the Deputy Postmaster in 1900, a 1c stationery drop card with octagonal "NOT CALLED FOR" in 1882, a stampless cover with scarce Ottawa Glassworks LC datestamp (SEP.3.1858 and open only 5 years), a group of 11 covers and cards collected for Automobilia (1890s to 1950s), a 2c Edward picture postcard mailed 1910 to Tasmania, about a dozen various military covers (including a nice passed for export registered cover), a 6c Small Queen on cover from Rankin ONT (ERD SEP.25.1874) to Ireland, a group of 21 cards from the Arthur Pequehnat correspondence (1894-1906), an 1891 letter bill from Cache Creek BC to Ashcroft Station BC, a turned 1938 cover from Toronto to South Africa and back, and other interesting items.
