Worldwide Philatelic Public Auction - January 12-14, 2018

The Worldwide auction of 1919 lots will be held in 3 sessions. The 1st session on Friday, January 12th at 6:30 pm will contain 372 lots of Coins, Foreign and British singles, and Autographs. The session will be highlighted by Worldwide Coin collections, Korean Presentation sheets, Great Britain with a valuable selection of Imprimaturs & Trial Colors, and Ceylon. The session will end with Autographs.

The 2nd session on Saturday, January 13th at 5:00 pm will contain 700+ U.S. single lots. The evening session will be highlighted by mint #2 (P.F. certs), a selection of the 1875 Re-issue, 1869 Issue #118 full original gum, extremely fine (certs), Inverted Centers of the 15¢ and the 24¢, 1875 Special Printing 1¢, 3¢ and 6¢ (rare and not seen on the market for decades), 1880 Special Printing 90¢, Scott #202 PSE cert. (approximately 41 known), 1917-19 1¢ Perforate 10 at Top, #498g (the only graded copy known), attractive Officials including probably the second and newly certified copy of #O103 used, Revenues incl. the #R133 $500 "Persian Rug", an example of a newly discovered strip of 4 of R309 used. The session will conclude with U.S. Possessions incl. Hawaii "Specimens", and better Ryukyu Islands.

The 3rd session on Sunday, January 14th at 9:30 a.m. will consist of 800+ U.S., Postcards, Ephemera, and Worldwide collections. The session will start with 280 U.S. lots plus 17 postcards and 15 Ephemera collections. It will be followed by 100 Commonwealth country (with Ceylon) and general collections, 280 Foreign country collections including China, better French Offices & Colonies, and Thailand. The sale will end with 140+ Worldwide collection lots including Topical collections and a Postal History section. It ends with a Literature section.
