green, 2¢ carmine and 2¢ ultramarine perforated and affixed to a large De La Rue, day book piece insert, inscribed "Appendix", A Postage Stamp printed and overprinted in singly fugitive ink in color adopted by the Postal Union for the ½d, 1d and

(some in blocks) from various countries, with Trial designs for the Cayman Islands (block of 6), Egypt (2 blocks of 4), Trinidad (pair), Federated Malay States (4 pars and 3 singles) one marked "Single Fugitive Black". A fugitive color is a
pigment that, when exposed to certain environmental conditions such as sunlight, humidity, temperature or even pollution, is less permanent, that is it can change color. The page is well annotated.mostly very fine . Ex De La Rue Archives, Maisel.
