3840 NHO   BERLIN COLLECTION, 1948/76. Well filled Lighthouse hingeless album, used to 1960 and then mixed NH and used to end with good number present both mint and used, better include 1948 Black Overprints used, 1948/49 Red Overprints used (1m-2m signed Schlegel), 1949 50pf-2m UPU used, 1949 Goethe used, 1949 Currency Conversion used, 1949 Currency Conversion S/S NH (bits of fingerprint and mount glaze), the three "Bells" sets, etc., some earlies minor faults or a dubious cancel, generally F-VF.

3841 NH   GERMANY - BERLIN STOCK. the parallel mint stock to the postally used offered also in this section; a  stock book full of mint apparently all NH, a bit lean in the premium years and really kicking into gear in the mid-1950s through 1990 issues with a nice section coils, booklet panes, etc., manageable duplication, generally fresh and F-VF (collector surely was a smoker), great retail value.

3846 NH   EAST GERMANY OFFICIALS MINT NH COLLECTION. 1950s/60s issues in Lighthouse hingeless pages starting with August 1954, complete set (Mi 1-17, €250 euro) followed by the so-called buchdruck printings, an excellent range "faserpapiers" including the first watermarks as well as the long dienstmarken with control numbers and different gums, leading through to the 1958 types, again comprehensive with no empty spaces all the way through to 1962. fresh and F-VF, nice collection of these elusive issues.

3848 O   SPECIALIZED GERMAN FOREIGN OFFICES AND COLONIES COLLECTION. Hundreds of stamps housed on Lighthouse and supplementary pages for each of the colonies and marked by an impressive array of different town cancels, eginning with German Post Offices in China with highlights such as #5I used in Tientsin, then the 56 degrees inc #1IIa #1IIb and #IIIc (x2) also #3IIb the 10pf through complete to the 50pf, then 1901 inc #15B a scarce stamp used in Tongku singed Dr Jaeschkle, there are also two types on the 2m #25I and #25II, followed b the surcharges of 1905 with highlights being #34b and both types of the $1.5 on 3m used, postmarks on high and low values include Canton and Tschifu through to the 1906/1919 o/ps, followed by various types inc #45IAII and #47 IAL Ia. Then German Post Offices in Morocco #1-#6 inc pair with the 10pf, 25pf and 50pf used in Rabat, signed Pauligk and Bothe respectively, the 10pf is Michel #3d, a scarce stamp, the 20pf is in superb used pair, followed by 1900 Germanias with useful postmarks such as Ifes-Mellah, Isaffi, Imogador, etc followed by 1905 o/ps inc #30b sheet corner marginal and #32b signed Pauligk through to 1906/11 Germanias, etc. Then German Post Offices in Turkey inc some very diverse material, i.e. #1b, #2a, #2b (signed Hollmann), #3a, #3b, 3d, #5a, #5b (signed Boethe) through 1899 inc eagles high value #9IIa (x2), #10c and #10d (signed Hollmann) through 1900 with 10piaster on 2mk and 1905 through 15pi on 3mk, #34a (cat 600 euro), as well as #34b, etc, through 1905/13 o/ps inc 25 piaster on 5m followed by#48-#53 complete. Then German New Guinea with #1a, #1b and #1c, complete eagles, then Kaisers Yachts inc interesting postmarks Simpson-Hafen and Berlinhafen to high values, extensive German East Africa with eagle o/ps complete, various Kaisers Yachts inc 1905/19 with Aruscha, Pangani, Soga in blue on 15heller blue, Handeni, ship cancels, etc inc scarce 60 heller Michel #37. Other postmarks of DOA in this extensive range include Johann-Albrechtshohe, Amani, Bismarckburg, Gochaganas, Gross-Witvley, Kilimatinde, Kilosa, Korogwe, Morogoro, Muanza,/Muansa, Muhasa, Mpapua through to Wuguri, etc. Similar extensive postmark study on German South West Africa innc 1897 #1-#4 with Maltahoehe, scarce top value in Khanrivier manuscript cancel, through to the second 1898 o/ps inc Marienthal on to the Kaisers Yachts with postmarks such as Aris, Tsumeb amd Warmbad, Feldpost expedition cancel through 1906/19 complete to 5m, inc Seeheim, Luederitz, Bucht as well as further seapost cancels and many others from Arge, Otjiwaro, Okahandja, Prinzenbucht, Richthofen through to Ukama, Usakos, etc. Then Cameroons first issues inc 1900 Kaisers Yachts with Plantation postmark through Caroline Islands 1901 Angaur (Palau Islands) and fancy ship cancels on to Kiautschou with various expert signatures on Kaisers Yachts from Bothe, Rohr, Ebel, Steuer, then 1905 types Tsingtao – Tapautau through Marian Islands, Marshall Islands inc Nauru, Samoa with unusual Salelavalu and Fagamolo postmarks and more signatures inc Lange and Steuer, through Togo with good types #1b (signed Pauligk), #1c and #1d (signed Dhran), through 1900 Kaisers Yachts inc Sokode, Atakpame, Porto Seguro strikes, etc then further postmark studies of all the colonies and some postal history from Samoa, Cameroons and general Deutsches Schutzgebiet. usual mixed condition but better than usually seen, mostly F-VF, ideal foir thge specialist and well worth a careful viewing.
