OLD - TIME BRITISH COMMONWEALTH COLLECTION. in 29 home made albums with many notations and research notes along with a very strong stock book selection, with minor duplication, from the QV to KGVI period. The albums basically cover the entire
empire until about 1972 and the focus by the collector was on shades/ptgs., so you will need your SG catalog and you will find, in most cases, the shades go way beyond the SG catalog coverage! There are many better values, cancel interest, and
unchecked for varieties. The stock book has a lot of value with coverage from the QV to KGVI period and with a lot of material MNH, including the really early material, so a lot of premium value for this period. better colonies with good values
include Ascension, Gibraltar, Seychelles, Nauru, Ceylon, Caribbean, British Africa, etc. A wonderful old time collection and small accumulation for the dealer or collector of this popular area. |

AUSTRALIA AND SEYCHELLES ACCUMULATION. being primarily values that were kept for various minor varieties, numerous printings, and cancels by a published specialized collector. The Seychelles is neatly sorted in a stock book by reign and SG order
and shows a plethora of shades and varieties, especially on the QV values and a great breakdown of shades for the highly popular KGVI issue, with mint and used in quantity, showing great depth beyond SG listed shades and most with date cancels to
help in their identification. towards the end their are well over 100 cancels with many better noted that will please the specialist. The Australia has at least a couple hundred or more Roos and KGV heads to the 2/ values, primarily used, but with
varieties waiting to be found and some cancel interest and then good coverage from the KGVI to QEII period, which is primarily mint with a lot NH, and finishes with a mint set of M1 - 7 and some very good value in the postage dues that need to be
checked. An very impressive holding of these two very popular areas. |
