Battered album with highlights as Lagos 1887 to 5/- used, plus earlier mint, Niger Coast onwards with many dozens including shilling values with lots of different cancels including the scarce provisional QV with the ½ on 1½d dull blue used in Opodo (SG 58d), Oil Rivers with an extensive study of the first issues in blocks of the ½ d vermillion (SG 1), mint blocks of the 1d and 2d (SG 2, 3), block of the 2½d including sheet marginal with never hinged present, pair of 5d, 1sh mint (3), as well as more mint and used singles including colored postmarks and incl a rare cover used on the 3rd December 1893, a registered letter with a combination of pairs of the ½d, 1d, 2d and singles of the 2d, 2½d  and 5d making the 1/6d rate to England, additional postal history of the Protectorate incl attractive Liverpool British packet and eight items of postal stationery; Northern Nigeria QV mint ½d to 2/6d (SG 1-8), then the same used to 1/-,  KE VII  incl NH marginal singles as well as an unusual distinct shifted tablet of the 5d, followed by KE VII used to 10/- (SG 10-18), then second KE VII multiple crown to 5/- used, KG V to 10/- used, also seen QV 1d with red manuscript cancel of Jebba followed by KE VII 1d with multiple line manuscript cancel in black ink "PO Burutu cancellation local", an unusual pair 2 x ½d KE VII  with red ink manuscript Post Office Jebba 9th Jan 1902; Southern Nigeria postal stationery KE VII used, KE VII to 10/- (SG 43) as well as KG V blocks mint and used ending with a good range of the regular issues of Nigeria with perf varieties mint and used to high values KG VI; much more here than described, Mostly F-VF; a delightful old time collection.
