4747 og,O,c   GREAT BRITAIN STAMP AND COVER COLLECTION.Collected in the good old days, starting off with a 4 margined penny black with light black maltese cross, 1841 penny red imperf unused and 1841 used 2d blue with four margins , then cut to shape 1847/54 embossed, followed by a reasonable range of line engraved different types inc superb 2d blue through to much surface printed, very comprehensive one of a kind with 1856 4d to 1/-, 1862 3d to 1/- inc scarce 9d bister brown, further 1865 values to 1/-, 1867 complete to 2/- inc 9d and 10d ,with the former a particularly attractive stamp, the 1873/76s complete to 1/- with good 8d - ,also out of place an attempted reconstructed plate numbers on further line engraved 1/2d to 2d tucked in on the side - then 1880/ 1881 ,values to 5d, followed by the surcharges complete 3d on 3d and 6d on 6d, as well as 1883/84 various values to shilling culminating with the QV high values 2/6d, 5/-, 10/- complete, possibly a good shade on the 10/-, ,ending with 1887/1900 complete to 1/-. Then EDVII 1902/1910 to  ,5/-, KGVI 1912/22 up 10/- seahorse with a distinct scarce shade on the 2/6, not listed in Scott very probably the deep chocolate brown, followed by 1924/25 complete to 1/-, virtual completion from 1925 onwards through to 1948. We also noticed a selection of IR officials from 1882 onwards, Govt Parcels inc QV 1887/92 4 1/2d, 6d, 9d, 1/- green and carmine among other better ones inc Army Officials, Admiralty Officials, postage dues from 1914 etc, etc. The postal history also reasonable with attractive 2x 1879 1d and 1/2d making a 2 1/2d rate to Switzerland, postal stationery QV onwards including combination stamp and postal stationery, early advertising mail, paquebot cancels, attractive registered, etc. Much more here than first meets the eye, please inspect carefully this rather unusual GB collection. 1,500-2,000

Further material classified by towns used in Brichgrove, Carriacou, Concord, Dunfermline, Grand Roy,, Gouyane, Greenville, Hermitage, etc. through to Union. The best is probably the stamp duty issues from 1867 onwards with QV values to $3 categorized by perforations, 1885 lilac and green series to $1, KEVII denominations to $3 all with red embossed cancels and similarly KGV to $6, bill of exchange "B. of E." o/ps from 1912 onwards inc. 1930 to $5 purple and brown, 1946 to $25 orange and blue, 1946/47 surcharges and the smaller QEII issues of the 1950s and &lsquo,60s to $10. Then contract note o/ps inc. 1945 $10, etc. The quality overall is excellent, a most attractive and impressive collection of these hard to come by issues, with some here being particularly elusive. 4758 nhc   HONG KONG TO 2000s ISSUES ACCUMULATION WITH BONUS ASIAN MATERIAL ADDED.Stuffed to capacity in one substantial volume, all mint never hinged with plenty of good material. For example the Hong Kong definitives first cameo head QEII $20, followed by both the 2nd and 3rd cameo head series complete to $50, through to the transition HK with both m/s and defins again complete to $50, as well as Disneyland m/s, various New Years etc&hellip,. and all this is on just the first page of this 64 page bulging book. Throughout there is plenty of topical interest with dinosaurs, wetlands, ,wildlife including birds, Pandas, space, sports and the Olympics, etc etc. This applies not just to the China but also other parts of the Far East with, for example, lots of se-tenants, miniature sheets of Japan, as well as better defins, commems, of Korea etc. Also seen good Taiwan with the various horse m/s, the twinned fish sheet marginal complete series, further se-tenants etc. The whole book is packed with these new issues. Also seen, postal history including FDCs inc defins to $50, etc. If you like the Far East new issues and need a broad range of stock through to 2008, this is well worth viewing. Virtually everything is in complete series, somewhat chaotically presented involving work to bring out the best of what is here. Ideal for a dealer of the Far East, the new issue cost runs into many thousands. Dealers, make sure this is on your list of lots to view, you will not be disappointed. 1,500-2,000
