Worldwide, 1850's-1960's, a large miscellany, including 4 worldwide collections on pages and in albums (Junior International and similar), with much 19th century; also some used on stock pages (mostly inexpensive stamps but many of them); a smattering of U.S. face value postage; a bit of China and some Eastern Rumelia forgeries; plus an unorganized group of newer mint British Commonwealth including King George VI high values; all packed into a large banker's box. Germany, 1945-1990, mint and used, with many complete sets, plus some souvenir sheets (catalog value $1500+);
Iran, 1876-1980, very extensive, perhaps 70%-80% complete for the period, mint and used (catalog value $1000+, dubious earlier issues not counted);
Luxembourg, 1880-1966, mostly mint, in mounts in a Lighthouse album, with some value in the earlier period (catalog value perhaps $500);
Nicaragua and Ecuador, 1878-1968, hinged in a Scott album, the Nicaragua being quite extensive, mainly mint (catalog value $500+).

General Foods Corporation was a company whose direct predecessor was established in the United States by Charles William Post as the Postum Cereal Company in 1895.The company changed its name to "General Foods" in 1929, after several corporate acquisitions, by Marjorie Merriweather Post after she inherited the established cereal business from her father C. W. Post. In November 1985, General Foods was acquired by Philip Morris Companies (now Altria Group, Inc.) for $5.6 billion, the largest non-oil acquisition to that time. In December 1988, Philip Morris acquired Kraft Foods Inc., and, in 1990, combined the two food companies as Kraft Foods.
