Stanley Gibbons Sale - 5925

Stamps and Postal History of the World - Featuring the Redcentre and Kimberley Collections of Great Britain - July 13-14, 2021

Our July Stamps and Postal History of the World sale is now open for bidding and we are pleased two named sections in their own right.
  • The first is the Redcentre collection of Great Britain which has a great focus on 1887 Jubilee material alongside KGV Seahorses.
  • The second named section is the Kimberley Collections of Great Britain where you will find a huge selection of QEII errors and varieties.
The sale itself is very much weighted towards GB material with a great selection of items to choose from as well as some more idiosyncratic pieces which would feature beautifully in any collection.

Along with a strong GB Section we also have a very robust British Guiana section which, off the back of the SG purchase of the infamous 1 cent magenta, features a 1856 4 cent black on rose-carmine. A USA 1909 4c. orange-brown (Experimental printing on bluish “rag” paper).

A last item to mention is the amazing GB 1966 British Technology 6d red, deep blue and orange, vertical strip of four with variety ‘MIDDLE PAIR DEEP BLUE (JAGUAR AND INSCRIPTION) OMITTED WITH UPPER AND LOWER STAMPS SHOWING PARTIAL OMMISSIONS’. An amazing item in an of itself which is rarely offered for sale, let along in a multiple of this size.
