40801 O,,,,Forgery,,,   image1840-1935 Old-time estate lot, attractive, valuable, and mixed collection of a wonderful array of Great Britain all used mostly with Irish cancels, roughly mounted on albums pages, showing used, fragments, cover fronts and complete envelopes, with ranges of different chancel types including the classic Irish diamond numeral, spoons, duplex and standard circular date stamps, strike in an array of different colours with black, blue and green, highlights include 1d blacks eleven singles from plate 1a to 10 mostly with good margins. Wonderful array of later line engraved from the imperfs to the perforated issues, including a fine range of 1d reds all with a wide variety of town cancels, better items include 1864-79 1d red plate 225 (S.G. £700), Surfaced Printed 1867-83 Maltese Cross 5s rose, plate 2 (S.G. £1'500), 1883-84 10s blue (S.G. £525), 1887-92 £1 green (S.G. £800). Later issues include a fine selection of 2s6d and 5s Seahorses all tied on fragments by REGISTER OF BUSINESSES/DUBLIN violet cds.
