(€700), very good German South-West Africa including "SPECIMEN" overprints, rare shades, Mariana Mi.19 very fine mint n.h. (Mi. €620), German Post In China, rare varieties in mint n.h., etc.

German States: 1850-1920, substantial collection of the Old German States in a stockbook with a number of better values and interesting postmarks. Baden includes a used 18 Kr, and some coloured cancels, Bavaria is present with a large number of Kreuzer issues mint and used, Prussia shows some interesting cancels and multiples, Sachsen includes a nice section of imperforate 3Pf green used and mint, several imperforate 5 Ngr and 10 Ngr, Württemberg shows a number of better Kreuzer stamps including the 70kr and a used 18kr of the second issue. As usual for these collections the quality is mixed. In total much more than 2000 stamps were collected in order to show the large variety of shades and postmarks of the classic issues. Very high catalogue value.

Germany: 1852-1957, Interesting collection used and mint on pages starting with some German States including covers and a nice section of NDP stamps, Deutsches Reich starting with the Brustschild issue, German inflation with overprint varieties, 3rd Reich 1933-1945 on Leuchtturm pages including a 1933 Deutsche Nothilfe souvenir sheet with the usual margin imperfections but showing the four stamps in vf mint n.h. condition (Michel 1'200€); a 1935 unused Ostropa with small marginal faults but perfect stamps (Michel 1'300€), various Feldpost issues, Deutsche Abstimmungsgebiete, SBZ including some local post issues, DDR with better sets mint n.h., the condition is as usual slightly mixed but a majority in vf condition.
