1948 (Apr 24) envelope from Hopeton to Lucea, with 1938 3d bisected diagonally and neatly cancelled with double-ring ds, Lucea arrival bs, a few tone spots though very rare. Note: After running out of stamps, the local Postmistress at Hopeton was given telephone permission to bisect 3d stamps to overcome the shortage.
