Description1863-1948, Truly spectacular specialised collection in 3 specially-made albums containing mint & used, proofs, covers, multiples, every imaginable variety with inverted overprints, inverted centres, imperfs, bisects, etc. Starts in 1863 forerunner issue (10 mint black, 1 used, plus 12 in blue with a block of 10), 1st Official issues are stunning with no less than 17 examples of 5c olive green at $450 each, including a block, 50c blue (6, one used), 5c violet (4), 10c brown (5), also 5c green complete pane of 72. Noted also Scott 14 mint, numerous bisects on classics and later issues; extensive “EF” overprint groups including proof of the surcharge in block, many 2c & 10c pict. bisects. Wonderful airmails with imperfs, Zeppelin rarities, Cochabamba flight covers, 10 examples of 1925 flight stamp to €800 each, Zeppelin overprints including inverted plus rare C13 plus same in inverted overprint, C17, C24a-6a inverts, common values mint & used, plus inverted overprints on cover.
