It is thought no more than 5 such covers were prepared; one stamp with natural paper fold else very fine and most uncommon Zeppelin showpiece (Sieger 247 variety)

Colonial Expo postage set of 6 and FLOWN TWICE, first during the Nov. 1934 Rome-Mogadiscio flight of Francis Lombardi (Massaua Nov. 9 cds and Mogadiscio Nov. 11 bs). As it was addressed to Comm. Lombardi in Brazil, it was then flown via Munich (Dec. 5 bs) to Recife (bs Dec. 12). An important double flight cover with both flight cachets, very fine, 2008 cert. and signed Pigeron (Sassone GP89a & Z24d, € 1’100 and Sieger 286 for the latter flight, € 600++)
